Shabaam Sahdeeq - is an underground hip hop artist from BK, New York. Shabaam Sahdeeq is recognized and respected as one of Brooklyn's most promising artist today and is no novice to the music industry .He Reached first fame with the legendary Rawkus Records and has featured alongside music icons such as Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man,Kool G Rap,Common ,Mos Def and Eminem! Shabaam Sahdeeq is nationally recognized for his work on the classic Sound Bombing and Lyricist Lounge series which dominated radio in the late 90's into the early 2000. In 1998, Sahdeeq collaborated with DJ Spinna, Mr. Complex and Apani B to form the hip-hop collective Polyrhythm Addicts. A supergroup renowned for its pivotal role in the explosion of late '90's indie hip-hop. The single 'Not Your Ordinary' gained an overwhelming critical and commercial reception, which paved the way for their first album. Rhyme Related, which was released 1999, and is widely regarded as a hip-hop classic. After this success, the group disbanded to focus on their individual careers. Sahdeeq's distinct voice and unique delivery catapulted him to mainstream stardom on the "Simon Says" Remix along side label mate Pharoahe Monch and has many new equally impressive ventures that has come out since then, out now and coming soon aswell. His undeniable grind is again reminding the industry why he was the next promising allstar on the Rawkus line up back in 2000. He is currently releasing independent cd after cd and again setting his mark in today's music climate .Shabaam Sahdeeq recent work has been receiving rave reviews in some of the biggest hiphop publications and he has even set his mark on todays digital game as his relentless work ethic continues.
